Do Alpacas get on with other animals?
Yes, they will mix easily with other animals, such as horses or donkeys, sheep, goats or cows. In general they will see off dogs by a combination of screeching and strength of numbers as they advance, except for the few ‘on site’ dogs to whom they will be accustomed. They will scare off or attack foxes and so can be helpful if you are running free-range ducks or other birds or want to protect young lambs.
